Fr. Mark WalterI am Father Mark Walter. I grew up in the city of Defiance, Ohio as a member of Saint Mary’s Catholic Church and a fan of the Cleveland Browns and the Ohio State Buckeyes as well. I was ordained as a priest in 2010 and my first priestly assignment was at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Carmel, Indiana for 3 years. I have also served at Saint Mary and Saint Ambrose Parishes in Anderson for 3 years as well and at Saint Boniface Church in Lafayette for four years all as an Associate Pastor. And now after 10 years of priesthood, I have been named the New Pastor of the Church of the Blessed Sacrament in West Lafayette. I am excited about this new opportunity to serve you and Our Lord. I ask you to pray for me in my new position and know that I will praying and offering sacrifices for you as well. I am happy to be with you.
